Dear Year 6 Students and Parents,
This is a notice regarding the process for registering for the 2022 public school SEAL examinations for Year 7 entry in 2023.
This year, the process has changed slightly. Please see the steps below:
- Submit your application for Year 7 public school placements by Friday 13 May 2022
- You will receive your placement offer on Wednesday 20 July 2022
- The SEAL tests will be held afterWednesday 20 July 2022
Please ensure you have completed the Application for Year 7 Placement 2023 form for your child and submitted it to their current primary school. Once you have submitted this application, you should check the closing dates and test dates for those schools’ SEAL tests.
We are currently aware of one public school which will allow students to take their SEAL examination regardless of whether or not the student is enrolled in the school for 2023. The details are below:
– Ashwood High School (applications for SEAL test close on Friday 29 July 2022, test will be held on Saturday 6 August 2022)
