Classic Reading & Writing

Children today need to understand more than just a basic message from the written word. They need to be able to understand implied meanings, text-types, style and structure and be able to develop sound and critical judgements of the text. They also need to be able to write effectively.

In the Classic Reading and Writing Courses students will explore various text types and become confident in their application. They will be given the opportunity to make appropriate responses to a variety of texts based on everyday life.

The course provides important supplementary knowledge and training for scholarship and selective entrance examinations.
